  10. surrounding a young woman's emotional
  11. breakdown. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she
  12. attended Smith College and was awarded a
  13. Fulbright scholarship to study at Cambridge
  14. University, England, where she met the poet
  15. Ted Hughes, whom she married 1956; they
  16. separated in 1962. She committed suicide
  17. while living in London.
